The UX Reader is an ebook written by the phenominal UX team at MailChimp. It was conceived as an experiment in online selling. So many of MailChimp's users are ecommerce folks, and this was an opportunity for us experience our product from their perspective.
Digital products often carry a visual barrier between the user and the people producing the work. I wanted the ebook to emphasis the humanity of the people behind it, not just with language, but through visuals. Illustrators were chosen for their ability to convey that visceral feeling in their work.
